Owner and baker, Sadie Ehrmantraut, has always found comfort in serving others through her baking. In her words. According to the bakery’s website, the journey of Bent Spoons Bakery, from an in-home operation to the newly reopened shop, has been marked by resilience and the desire to bring a little joy into people’s day.
Drawing on family traditions and memories, the bakery offers unique creations that carry a hint of nostalgia. The name ‘Bent Spoons’ emerged from a family discussion, symbolizing their collective resilience during challenging times.
The reopening of Bent Spoons Bakery has brought along an exciting addition: a new Bubble Tea and Coffee Bar. Thanks to a partnership with Alien Roasting Company, the bakery now offers a diverse range of beverages— hot, iced, cold brew, or dressed up—you name it. The bubble tea options include Milk Tea, Taro, and Green Tea with your choice of traditional tapioca or popping boba. One of the standouts from the menu is “The Peggy Ann”, a delightful blend of Taro Tea, Raspberry, and Boba, named after Sadie’s mom, who loved the color purple.
Graduating from Le Cordon Blue with a focus on French pastry and viennoiserie, Sadie has skillfully blended local fare with a touch of European flair. The result? Bright flavors, traditional recipes, and a dash of whimsy to keep things fun.
Along with these additions, Bent Spoons Bakery has also introduced a grab-and-go cooler filled with whole cakes and prepackaged goodies for those in need of quick and delicious treats.
