On any given summer evening, the setting sun-lit twin steeples of St. Peter’s Church crown the downtown Mansfield skyline.

In a similar way, the annual series of musical offerings from the Parish shines by providing area residents with the best of classical and related fare. The just announced 2017-2018 St. Peter’s Music Series is ambitious and amazing for a community of Mansfield’s size.

The series includes the following; we will have additional information on each performance as it nears. At the bottom you will find a short clip of The BlueWater Chamber Orchestra playing music of Beethoven.

Apollo’s Fire – Christmas on Sugarloaf Mountain – Apollo’s Fire returns to St. Peter’s on Wednesday evening, November 29 at 7:00 p.m. with the premiere performance of their new program, Christmas on Sugarloaf Mountain: An Irish-Appalachian Celebration

St. Peter’s Choir – Advent Festival of Lessons and Carols – It’s a very prayerful and inspiring way to prepare for the holiday season.

Catholic Schools Week Concert – Featuring the individual talents of many students, faculty, and staff, this concert is a wonderful way to spend a mid-winter’s afternoon.

Andrew Sords, Violnist – Virtuoso Violinist Andrew Sords returns to Mansfield on March 18 at 3:00 p.m. in an exciting performance of works by Brahms, Rachmaninoff and others, accompanied by piano and cello

Cinderella – Broadway comes back to St. Peter’s in April 2018 as we collaborate with St. Peter’s School Department of Theater and Performing Arts in their production of the Rodgers & Hammerstein favorite  Cinderella

Monteverdi’s Vespers – Featuring brilliant soloists and the St. Peter’s Choir, together with singers from other area choirs and choruses.
