Online registration has now opened for the Ohio Genealogical Society‘s 2017 Fall Seminar, to be held on Saturday, October 7.

Seating for the seminar is limited, so early registration is advised.

Clearly reflecting the growth of DNA testing and research among lovers of family history, this annual event is currently scheduled to include the following workshops:

  • Finding Dead Ancestors is Easy. Finding the Living Can be a Challenge
  • I’ve Had my DNA Tested, Now What?
  • Using DNA Testing to Further Your Family Tree: A Primer
  • Deconstructing Your Family Tree: Re-Evaluating the Evidence

The Fall Seminar will be held at the Quality Inn & Suites Conference Center in Bellville, just one mile east of the OGS Library.

As a reminder, the OGS’s Samuel D. Isaly Library is open through the summer, from 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is just $5; free for OGS members. A Library informational brochure can be viewed here.
