Tuesday evening’s Season Preview event showcased many of the performances in store for theatre goers over the next twelve months. Joining traditional favorites, such as Neos Dance Theatre’s “A 1940s Nutcracker,” will be new fare – including musicals, concerts, recording artist performances, and much more.

A key feature of the upcoming season’s fare will be a January celebration of the 90th anniversary of the building itself, which opened in 1928 as the Ohio Theatre. The announcement was made on Tuesday that the birthday event will include a screening of the first film shown at the Ohio – Clara Bow in “Get Your Man.” Below is a five minute introduction to the film.

Today, the Renaissance Blog posted the entire lineup for 2017-2018. As it shares, “We have FORTY shows in our 17-18 season, truly something for everyone.”
