Richland Community Development Group’s Beautification Sector will host an “America In Bloom” presentation beginning at 9:00 AM this Thursday, February 2nd in the Carriage House at Kingwood Center Gardens.

Bill Hahn, American In Bloom Judge and Consulting Landscape Architect, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Hahn, a Registered Landscape Architect since 1984, holds a Degree in Ornamental Horticulture, is a Certified Arborist, a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, and an Ohio Nursery and Landscape Master Technician. An employee of the City of Akron since 1993, Mr. Hahn received citations for Akron’s 2003 America in Bloom National Competition for the 101,000-300,000 population category, Neptune Park Historic Restoration, and the Akron Noise Attenuation Project.

The presentation will review getting started in the America in Bloom program, how participation can benefit your community, business or residence, and provide a framework for continuous community improvement.
