The Renaissance Theatre has announced auditions for the remainder of their 2021-2022 season, which includes musicals, plays, and even short films

“2022 will certainly be starting off with a bang at the Ren!” said Renaissance Theatre Marketing Manager, Ryan Shreve.

“With blockbuster hits like Spamalot, and our new Emerging Artists program, there’s something exciting for everyone to audition for. We’ve been fortunate to have amazing local talent perform here over the past decade, and now we’re starting to see massive national submissions. It’s an exciting time to be part of these powerhouse productions.”

Upcoming auditions include broadway musicals like Spamalot, Once, and a Mansfield Symphony’s Sound of Music in Concert. The auditions also include new works written by local Emerging Artists, Jason Kaufman and Alison Bolen (Young and Unsullied), Aaron & Allie Nicolas (This Too Shall Pass), and a short comedy film written by Tatum Hunter (Things We Know to Be True).

Auditions are open to performers of all ages. All diversities are encouraged to submit as the Renaissance maintains a policy of equal opportunity casting. All Renaissance Theatre health and safety policies are strictly enforced and are subject to change at any time. Currently, all actors are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 test results every 72 hours during the rehearsal and performance process.
