The Shelby City Health Department has announced that COVID-19 vaccinations will begin this Thursday, January 14, for individuals identified in Phase IA of the State of Ohio rollout plan.
At present, that includes the following:
- Healthcare workers
- Podiatrists
- Dentists
- EMS responders
- Home healthcare workers
- Personnel who are routinely involved in the care of COVID-19 patients
- Workers who care for vulnerable individuals who live in close proximity/congregate care settings, such as residents and staff of nursing homes and assisted living facilities
Please note that at present there is a limited supply of vaccine available, however that amount is scheduled to increase over the coming day and weeks.
