🏥 Mansfield hospital reaches heart-care milestone
Published Wednesday: OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital has completed its 100th Amulet procedure, part of its stroke-prevention program for certain patients with atrial fibrillation who cannot safely take long-term blood thinners.
The hospital has performed more than 650 left atrial appendage closure procedures using Amulet and Watchman devices, expanding access to specialized heart care locally. Read the Mansfield News Journal report.
⚽ Clear Fork clinches another conference championship
Tuesday-night recap: Clear Fork defeated Ontario 3-1 to secure the outright Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference boys soccer championship.
Finn Mcauley scored twice, Kade Beachy added a goal and two assists, and goalkeeper Wes Bunnell made seven saves. 🎃 Help carve Kingwood’s Pumpkin Glow display today

🍂 Fleming Falls launches a new fall festival
Upcoming event: The Friends of the Richland County Park District will host its first Fall at the Falls festival Sunday, October 18, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Fleming Falls Preserve.
Admission is free. Plans include hayrides, guided hikes, live music, pumpkin decorating, face painting and a campfire with s’mores. Food trucks will sell seasonal treats, and on-site parking will be available. See the festival details.
