It’s “all systems go” at The Ohio State University at Mansfield for the start of a unique academic year. Classes begin on Tuesday, August 25.
The experience for students and staff this year will be different in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Information on the Safe and Health Return to Campus can be viewed here.
Over the next several days, a full slate of activities marks this new year. The Weeks of Welcome schedule can be accessed below; it includes the traditional convocation, a town hall meeting, virtual ice breakers — even a scavenger hunt (if you have seen strange things around campus, take notice).
We are so excited to welcome YOU to campus. Check out our Weeks of Welcome schedule! pic.twitter.com/2NKqmJzGO9

If you are not a student at OSU Mansfield, or if its been awhile since you have set foot on campus, you can participate by taking a new virtual tour of the campus. Accessible here and via a link on the home page of its website, the new tour not only allows you to walk around campus, but into individual buildings. Information buttons give more details on specific resources.
Have you heard about but never been in the Bromfield Library, for instance? Here’s your chance! The campus’ increasingly well known Eco-Lab Wetlands are also featured.
360 degree views are also included, and you can take the OSUM Virtual Tour in your favorite virtual reality access device. It’s great fun.
Lastly, we at 1812Blockhouse have one last thing to share on the subject:
O H!
