A handful of adjustments will take place if Ontario City Council passes proposed changes to its zoning code.

While the proposal will be considered at its December 7 meeting, the City has placed information about the revisions on its website. There, citizens can view a map showing the impacted areas.

Changes would include the following, among others:

  • The largest change would involve over 10 parcels on the south side of US30 in the vicinity of Rock Road, from R-1 (Low Density Residential) to B (Business).
  • OS (Office Service) to GI (General Industrial) for acreage west of the intersection of SR309 and Lexington Springmill Road, near Beer Road.
  • Moving two sides of a stretch of SR309 west of Home Road from R-1 (Low Density Residential) to OS (Office Service).

The entire map can be accessed here.
