Shelby residents have been advised that the City of Shelby Service Department‘s last day for leaf pick up will be this Friday, November 30.

Please rake your leaves to the edge of the roadway for our crews to vacuum them up. Do not pile leaves close to obstructions such as utility poles, sign posts, hydrants, etc., and do not cover sidewalks.

As a reminder, you can drop off loose leaves behind the Community Gardens located on the North side of the Water Plant in the designated area, please assure that there are no limbs or other debris mixed in with the leaves.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
