Older adults across the region are invited to celebrate health, wellness, and community at this year’s Senior Spring Extravaganza, hosted by the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. The free event will take place Friday, May 29, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mid-Ohio Education Center, 890 W. 4th St., Mansfield.

The event is being held in partnership with the Administration for Community Living as part of Older Americans Month. This year’s national theme, “Champion Your Health,” will guide a day designed to connect seniors with information, resources, and opportunities for healthy, positive aging.

Resources, Music, Lunch, And More

The Area Agency on Aging is planning a festive Mardi Gras-style atmosphere, with community-based organizations, sponsors, and vendors on hand to share aging-related resources and services. Guests will also be able to enjoy a free lunch, BINGO, music by Randy Velez, an on-site classic car show, and a variety of community vendors. The event is designed to be both useful and enjoyable, offering practical information in a lively setting that encourages connection and celebration.

Classic Cars And Community Participation

Car owners who would like to take part in the classic car show may register for a slot by calling 567-247-6458. Sponsorships and vendor booths are also available, though registration is required for those wishing to participate in that capacity. Sponsor and vendor information is available at www.aaa5ohio.org/events/senior-spring-extravaganza/.

No Registration Needed To Attend
