🚧 East Fifth Street closes for water-main repairs

Issued Thursday: East Fifth Street is closed between Ashland Road and Wayne Street while crews repair a water main. No through traffic is permitted, and the city expects the road to reopen October 16.

💧 Three boil advisories lifted

Wednesday updates: Mansfield lifted the advisories covering 320–451 Park Avenue East and Reba Avenue between Harter and Gilbert avenues. The city reported that testing confirmed water purity. See the city’s notices. mansfieldohio.gov

🍼 Community baby shower connects families with support

Happening Thursday: CHAP’s 2026 Community Baby Shower takes place this afternoon at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center. Expectant parents, new parents and caregivers can meet healthcare providers and organizations offering help with housing, transportation, food access and parenting.
