Snow Trails’ latest snow report heralded the new year with very glad tidings.
On New Year’s Day, the resort reported that snowmaking wrapped up its third straight overnight run and was expected to end that morning. Crews were refreshing surfaces across the mountain as the resort settles into another busy peak day of its 65th season. Visitors would find a groomed mix of machine-made and natural snow throughout open terrain.
Conditions snapshot
This morning’s numbers pointed to a strong mid-winter setup:
- Base depth: 26 to 48 inches
- New snow: 4 inches
- Made snow: 2 inches
- Natural snow: 2 inches
Everything that matters is open and running:
- Lifts: 11 of 11
- Trails: 21 of 21

- Tubing park: Open
Alpine Park is back in action, and The Woods Park has reopened following a complete rebuild, giving riders and skiers fresh features to explore. The Rustler Jump Line currently has rollers, with additional elements expected next week.
