The Renaissance Performing Arts Association is proud to announce its 2026–2027 Season, bringing a dynamic array of entertainment to downtown Mansfield that continues to deliver experiences for everyone. From Broadway musicals and live concerts to symphony performances, family programming, and immersive theatre, the new season invites audiences of all ages, interests, and backgrounds to connect through the arts right here at home.

New This Season: A Transformed Theatre Experience
Beginning this season, audiences will enjoy performances from brand new seating throughout the Renaissance Theatre. This major renovation enhances comfort, sightlines, and the overall experience for every guest. The project reflects the Renaissance’s ongoing commitment to providing a first-class arts experience for the community.

The Park National Bank Broadway Series brings beloved stories and iconic music to the Renaissance stage. This season features the high-energy charm of Guys & Dolls, the timeless classic Oliver!, and the inspiring true story behind Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. These fully staged productions, created by the Renaissance Artistic Team, showcase outstanding local and regional talent under the direction of the Renaissance’s award-winning artistic team.
The Avita Health System Concert Series continues with an exciting lineup of tribute acts and live music experiences spanning decades and genres. Audiences can rock out to Good Times, Bad Times (A Tribute to Led Zeppelin), sing along with country star Jo Dee Messina, and enjoy fan-favorite tributes including Jimmy Buffett, Pearl Jam, AC/DC, and Neil Diamond. With something for every music lover, the concert series promises unforgettable nights of live entertainment.
The OhioHealth Symphony Series offers an inspiring season of music under the direction of Music Director Octavio Más-Arocas. Highlights include the free community concert Classical Mansfield: Radiant & Beautiful Community Concert, the innovative Game On: The Sound of Play featuring PROJECT Trio, the beloved Holiday Pops, Side by Side: New World Voices featuring the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra, and Requiem & Renewal featuring the Mansfield Symphony Chorus. The season culminates with a spectacular collaboration between the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and Renaissance Theatre as they present My Fair Lady in Concert. Whether you’re a lifelong symphony enthusiast or experiencing the orchestra for the first time, the OhioHealth Symphony Series offers unforgettable performances that entertain, inspire, and connect our community.
The Mechanics Bank Education Series continues to provide meaningful opportunities for young people and families to engage with the arts. From Broadway Camps and Mansfield Youth Theatre productions like Disney’s Newsies, Jr., to the beloved Teddy Bear Concert Series, students and families can explore creativity in a welcoming and interactive environment. Programs such as the Mansfield Symphony Youth Orchestra, Youth Strings, Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre, and Carnegie Hall’s Link Up initiative further expand access to arts education across our region.
Families will also have the chance to experience something truly special this season as Elmo comes to the Renaissance stage. Beloved by generations, Elmo’s live appearance brings the magic of Sesame Street to Mansfield for an unforgettable, joy-filled event perfect for young audiences and families alike.
The Innovation Series, presented in Theatre 166, features bold, intimate, and immersive storytelling. This season includes the return of Dracula, the darkly comedic Ruthless! The Musical, and the powerful contemporary musical Come From Away. The series also includes the popular Ghostlight Cabaret performances, offering unique, up-close theatrical experiences in the Ren’s black box space.
The Spotlight Series brings a diverse mix of special events and returning favorites. Highlights include the classic film Nosferatu accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, the annual screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and holiday traditions The Nutcracker Ballet and We Wish You a Jazzy Christmas. Additional performances from touring artists and specialty acts round out this engaging series.
The Renaissance also kicks off the season with Pictures on the Plaza, a free outdoor movie series in the Renaissance Plaza that invites the community to gather, connect, and enjoy films under the stars.
