Beginning Wednesday, February 4, riders using GoBus in Cleveland will board and disembark at a new location: the RTA Brook Park Station at 17510 Brook Park Road.

The move creates a practical, affordable link between intercity bus travel and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority Red Line. From Brook Park, passengers can ride directly to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Tower City Center downtown, and points east.

What’s changing

  • New Cleveland stop location: RTA Brook Park Station, 17510 Brook Park Rd.
  • Effective date: Wednesday, February 4
  • Affected trips: All GoBus schedules serving Cleveland
  • Minor timing adjustments: Schedules 12 and 13
  • Barons Bus connection remains at 13315 Brook Park Road for Barons Bus Lines riders

This directly affects Mansfield-area riders

For travelers coming from Mansfield to Cleveland, this change is important.

Many North Central Ohio passengers use GoBus to reach Cleveland specifically to connect onward with Greyhound Lines, Barons, and other carriers. With the Cleveland stop now at Brook Park:

  • Transfers to Greyhound and other intercity lines will require attention to the new location
  • Riders may need to use the Red Line or a short local transit connection to reach other bus terminals
  • Trip planning from Mansfield now involves understanding this new transfer point

If you have been accustomed to arriving at the previous Cleveland stop and walking or ridesharing to another bus line, that routine changes on February 4.

Why this matters for riders

This shift turns Cleveland into a true transit hub rather than simply a drop-off point.

  • Red Line fares start at $2.50
  • GoBus fares start under $10 one-way
  • Direct rail access to the airport and downtown
  • Lower-cost connections without needing a taxi or rideshare

For budget-conscious travelers, students, seniors, and anyone making a multi-leg trip without a car, this creates new options but requires a bit more awareness.

Double-check before you go

GoBus urges passengers to confirm details before travel:

  • Follow GoBus on Facebook
  • Visit the Travel Alerts page at ridegobus.com/alerts
  • Use the link inside your e-ticket email, which updates automatically
  • Call 888-954-6287 Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Email gobus@hapcap.org

If you already have a ticket for Cleveland after February 4, the updated stop and any schedule adjustments will appear automatically in your e-ticket.

The bigger picture

This is a small logistical change with a large practical effect, especially for riders coming from Mansfield and other North Central Ohio communities who rely on Cleveland as a connection point to the rest of the country.
