Richland Carrousel Park will turn its lawn into a family-friendly play space on June 13, bringing together carnival games, lawn games, food, drinks, prizes, and carrousel rides for an afternoon built around easy summer fun.

The “Games & Fun on the Lawn” event will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the park, 75 N. Main St. in downtown Mansfield. The gathering is designed as a kickoff to Miss Ohio Week, offering families a chance to enjoy a relaxed outdoor celebration in one of Mansfield’s most recognizable downtown destinations.

Carnival Games, Dirty Sodas, And A Cookout Feel

Mid-Ohio KidsFest will be on hand with carnival games, giving children and families a taste of classic festival fun. Visitors can also expect lawn games, games and prizes, and activities for all ages. Food and drinks will be part of the afternoon as well. The event will include grilling out, while Sodie Shack will be on site with its dirty soda lineup, adding a colorful, modern twist to the day’s refreshments.

At The Home Of The Original KidsFest

The event also leans into Richland Carrousel Park’s role as the home of the original KidsFest, pairing the nostalgia of carrousel rides with the energy of a summer lawn party. The downtown landmark has long been a place where families gather, and this event gives that tradition a seasonal boost.

With bunting, games, treats, and the sound of the carrousel nearby, the afternoon promises a simple formula: bring the family, enjoy the lawn, grab something from the grill or Sodie Shack, and make a few early-summer memories in the heart of Mansfield.
