A producer-focused farmers market will bring local growers, bakers, makers, music and midweek shopping to East Main Street through mid-October. A new season of fresh produce, handmade goods and community connection is coming to Lexington.

The Lexington Ohio Farmers Market will begin Wednesday, May 20, and continue weekly through October 14. The market will be held every Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the lower parking lot of the Lexington–Shelby Elks Lodge #2554, located at 320 E. Main Street in Lexington.

The market is sponsored by Lexington–Shelby Elks Lodge #2554 and Common Ground Training.

Organizers intend to keep the market as close to a true farmers market as possible, with a producer-only, direct-to-consumer focus. That means local farmers, growers, bakers, makers and artisans will be selling products they grew, raised or produced themselves. The 2026 season is expected to include fresh and seasonal produce, meat and eggs, honey, plants, baked goods, cottage foods, handmade items and other small-business products. The Wednesday evening schedule gives residents a chance to stop by for a midweek grocery refresh while supporting local producers.

In addition to vendors, the market will feature live music, food and drink trucks, and special events throughout the season. Organizers describe the market as a way to support local agriculture, strengthen community connections and provide residents with regular access to fresh, locally sourced options.

Lexington–Shelby Elks Lodge #2554 and Common Ground Training are supporting the market by providing space for vendors and shoppers. Porta potties will also be available during market hours.

The East Main Street location gives the market a visible, accessible home for shoppers, vendors and community members throughout the growing season.
