Every year, the staff at Mansfield City Schools participate in the United Way giving campaign.
The district benefits greatly from this campaign through the multiple programs that United Way of Richland County supports, many of which provide services to MCS students and their families. Last year, the staff raised $9,754.40. This was the largest increase in funding from the previous year for all school districts in Richland County. This led to MCS being the recipient of the Gopher Award.

With less than a month away from start of the community’s United Way of Richland County campaign for 2018-2019, registration is now open for the campaign kick-off event.
The kick-off will take place on September 18 at the Renaissance Theatre starting at 7:30 AM with breakfast from Dan Lew Exchange Catering. More…
The United Way of Richland County is hosting their Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, March 8 Ed Pickens’ Café on Main. The event will kick-off at 5 PM for a social hour with the dinner and awards starting at 6 PM.
The Annual Dinner is held each year to recognize campaign achievements and honor volunteer leadership. More…
