Think of it as being an “upscale flea market.” You’ll find vintage junk (the best kind of junk), architectural salvage, barn and attic treasures, and farm market goodies.

On Saturday, June 12, take the opportunity to run not only through roses, but also scores of other flowering plants as Kingwood Center Gardens hosts its 11th Annual Family 5K Run/Walk.
Brought to you by Ohio Health, the event will take runners and walkers through charming gardens. Participants of all ages are welcome.

After nearly a two-month pause, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will open its gates to spectators on a limited basis this weekend for the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, June 26-28. The race weekend is the longest continuously-running annual event at the motorsports facility in Lexington, Ohio, which previously was the season-opener most recently in 2017.
The Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio will operate under the “Responsible RestartOhio” guidelines for COVID-19 after receiving approval from government officials for limited spectator attendance. Not only is 2020 a leap year, but the extra day falls on a Saturday! The Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department is taking advantage of this and has scheduled a Leap Day Party at the Ocie Hill Neighborhood Center in Mansfield – it will take place on Saturday, February 29 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

The Mansfield Youth Theatre (“MY Theatre”) will present Disney’s Frozen, Jr. on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre September 13, 14, and 15 as a part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series. Performances will take place at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, and 2:30 PM on Sunday. Dauphne Maloney directs the show with musical direction by Brian K. Nabors. The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) and the Capitol Square Foundation (CSF), in partnership with the Ohio History Connection, will unveil the Ohio Constitution Exhibit in the Statehouse Museum on Wednesday, November 28 at 10 AM in the Museum Gallery.
The $850,000 exhibit will permanently house the state constitutions of 1802 and 1851, as well as a major series of amendments added in 1912 so sweeping that many consider it to be a third constitution. Ohio will now be the first state capitol in the country to publicly display their state’s constitutions. More…
