In addition to news of a spec building to be constructed on Airport West Road for industrial and warehousing purposes, Mansfield City Council heard of another Lahm Airport development during its Tuesday committee meetings.
Attorney Bud Vetter, representing local investors Dan and Brenda Niss, shared news that they would like to invest $2 million in the facility for creation of a self serve fueling operation, also known as a “fuel farm.” This will allow for airplanes to easily fuel at Lahm, further enhancing its operational capacity.
Vetter shared that the project would also include the construction of a new hangar and would provide professional staff to the main, front counter in the airport terminal.
