Fans of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, buckle up: the 64th season of racing is set to be one for the books. With five major spectator events scheduled across the summer, the 2025 lineup will once again feature a thrilling mix of NTT INDYCAR SERIES races, IMSA sports car battles, and high-speed MotoAmerica Superbike showdowns. With each event returning on familiar weekends, next summer is shaping up to deliver a dynamic showcase for all racing enthusiasts.

“All five major weekends are returning in 2025, and we couldn’t be more thrilled that they all are staying on the same weekends as in 2024,” said Craig Rust, president of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. “Next summer’s schedule continues our tradition of delivering a great variety from the premier series in motorsports. There once again is something for everyone!”

The Action Begins with IMSA at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Four Hours of Mid-Ohio

The 2025 season roars to life with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Four Hours of Mid-Ohio from June 6-8. IMSA sports car racing returns to kick off the action with a four-hour Michelin Pilot Challenge endurance race. This is one of only two four-hour competitions on the series’ 2025 schedule, making it a must-see for fans of sports car endurance.

The weekend will also bring additional adrenaline-pumping events, with races from VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin. And for open-wheel racing fans, USF Juniors presented by Continental Tire will add some high-speed, wheel-to-wheel competition to the festivities. If you’re ready for a summer of tight turns and photo finishes, mark your calendar—this event is only the beginning.

Celebrating Racing History at the Permco Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio

The Permco Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, the track’s longest-running spectator event, returns on June 20-22 for its 43rd edition. Organized by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, the SpeedTour weekend will showcase a vibrant mix of classic and modern race cars, a favorite among spectators for its nostalgic energy.

To top it off, the iconic Trans Am Series will be part of the lineup—expect roaring engines and thrilling turns as fans experience everything from the golden age of racing to modern motorsport excellence. There’s nothing quite like the diversity that the Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio brings to the season.

The Honda Indy 200 Takes Over Fourth of July Weekend

The fireworks continue at the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES races take center stage from July 4-6. Now in its 42nd running, this event has grown to become Ohio’s largest annual motorsports gathering. Last summer’s race ended in spectacular fashion with Pato O’Ward crossing the finish line ahead of three-time champion Alex Palou, cementing its place as an unforgettable showdown.

The Fourth of July tradition continues in 2025, promising a full weekend of racing thrills. For those who crave the tension and excitement of open-wheel racing, this is the highlight of the Mid-Ohio calendar.

Vintage Motorcycle Days: Celebrating the Two-Wheel Legends

Switching gears—literally—the Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days will bring the rumble of classic bikes back to Mid-Ohio on July 25-27. For its 30th appearance at the venue, the American Motorcyclist Association will bring racing, bike shows, and the largest motorcycle swap meet in North America, creating a vibrant celebration of all things two-wheeled.

With activities filling the 380-acre facility, it’s a gathering of bike enthusiasts that’s bound to keep everyone entertained, from racing aficionados to those curious about the history of motorcycling.

MotoAmerica Superbike Racing Caps Off the Season

The final chapter of the summer action is set to close with a crescendo, as Permco MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio hits the track on August 15-17. In 2024, Superbike racing made a triumphant return to North Central Ohio, thrilling fans for the first time in a decade—and 2025 will be no different. The seventh round of the MotoAmerica Steel Commander Superbike Championship will include at least five different classes and 10 high-stakes races.

For those who have been craving the roar of motorcycles hurtling around the course, this weekend is a definite must-attend. Expect an action-packed conclusion to a summer of speed, where only the best will claim victory.

The Club Events and Season Passholder Benefits

Beyond the major spectator events, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will be bustling with over 20 club weekend racing events from April to October, giving true motorsports fans plenty of reasons to keep coming back. Season Race Pass holders not only gain access to the major five weekends but also enjoy the perk of attending these additional events free of charge.

And for those with young fans in tow, there’s good news—children aged 12 and under always receive free general admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. It’s the perfect opportunity for family outings filled with high-speed fun.

Season Race Pass renewals will open soon for current holders, providing significant savings on 2025 ticket pricing before sales begin to the general public. Stay tuned for official announcements regarding the renewal period and other exciting updates.
