Your health is your wealth, so the saying goes. It’s important to take care of your health because it tends to be one of those things we don’t appreciate until it’s gone.
North Central State College of Nursing is bringing a Community Health Fair to Shelby on February 27. The event will be hosted by the Shelby YMCA (111 West Smiley Avenue) and is open to everyone. There is no charge, so attending is a no-brainer.
The event will run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Attendees can take advantage of free blood pressure screenings, and gain valuable information on the topics of diet, exercise, and healthy lifestyle management. There will also be healthy snacks and a chance to win a door prize!
