Richland County Transit is giving riders an easy way to get around on Saturday, November 22, and they’re doing it with a welcome bonus: every trip is free. It’s part of a Shop Small weekend push, and while the schedule is trimmed down a bit, the key routes will be rolling from mid-morning through mid-afternoon.

What’s Running

Riders will find the main lines operating on adjusted hours, including Park Avenue, Lexington Avenue, South Main, Springmill, Ashland Road, Glessner Avenue, and West Fourth Street. Most routes begin service around 9:30 AM and wind down between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, with last-bus times noted on the day’s schedule.

The Ontario Circulator will also be in service, leaving Walmart on the hour starting at 10:00 AM and Meijer on the half-hour, with its final trip at 3:25 PM.

Don’t Forget Dial-A-Ride

Dial-A-Ride will be available from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the final pick-up time at 3:15 PM. Anyone needing a scheduled ride should plan ahead and call 419-522-4504.

A Good Day to Get Out

With fares waived and local businesses gearing up for a busy weekend, Saturday offers an easy chance to move around the county without worrying about parking or gas. If you’re planning to shop small, meet a friend for lunch, or just head across town, this is one of the lighter, more relaxed RCT service days of the year.
