Ohio Expands Options To Obtain High School Equivalency Certificates

Ohioans now have three testing options for earning a certificate of high school equivalence. The Ohio Department of Education approved GEDHiSET and TASC as the official testing companies for adult learners to use to earn the certificate of high school equivalence, generally considered to be the equivalent of a high school diploma.

Renaissance Announces Summer Musical And Auditions

The Renaissance Performing Arts Association has announced the first show in the 2018-2019 Richland Bank Broadway Series: Disney’s Newsies the Broadway Musical running July 28-29 and August 4-5 on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre. Nationwide Childrens Expands Local Services With Second Richland Office

A new Close To Home Center for Columbus’ Nationwide Children’s Hospital will bring developmental occupational and physical therapy services, as well as speech pathology services, much closer to home.

The new Center is now open at 2003 West Fourth Street, Suite 205. It is the second Nationwide Children’s office presence in the county (our October 2016 notice about the first center can be read here). More…

Shelby Seeks Comments On Intersection Project

The City of Shelby is proposing to install new traffic signals, pedestrian crossing signals, pavement markings, sidewalks and physical improvements at the SR 61 (Gamble St.) and Smiley Avenue Intersection.  The construction will be funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation.

All work will be completed within existing right-of-way.  Construction is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2019. More…
