Looking for a great way to kick off Thanksgiving Day? The Mansfield and Lexington Turkey Trot, which offers running and walking for either 5k or 10k, returns for Thanksgiving morning 2019. The course is on the historic B&O Railway Trail and will start at Stop 11 in Lexington.

The races kick off with the Kids Fun Run at 8:40 AM followed by the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k start at 8:50 AM on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 28.

The race will be timed by chip technology (racers’ times start and end as they pass over an RFID mat), which offers instant, accurate results. Registration may be completed online here.

The event is sponsored by the Ladies of the Lexington Senior Center, Apple Hill Orchards and Kroger Marketplace. There is ample event parking at the Senior Center and adjoining lots. The event is dog-friendly and will also accommodate strollers.
