Downtown Mansfield, Inc. (DMI) will hold another Secret City Tour this Saturday, allowing attendees to glimpse a Mansfield that has been there for a century or more but which has been largely unseen.

At least once a year, the organization facilitates the opening of architecturally interesting buildings in Mansfield’s downtown area that are not typically open to the public. This fall’s Secret City Tour will take place this Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

This Tour features the following places to visit:

  • 246 East Fourth Street
  • 48 West Fourth Street
  • 25 North Park Street
  • 101 North Main Street
  • 19 North Park Street
  • 137 North Main Street
  • 193 North Main Street

Each of these buildings are either currently being renovated or provide excellent opportunities for investment and adaptive reuse.

Over the last few days, several of these properties have been highlighted on DMI’s Facebook page, which can be accessed here, and elsewhere on social media. One such highlight can be viewed below.

Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased online or on event day at the DMI HQ at 128 North Main Street. This is a self-guided tour and photography is welcome. Many of the buildings are currently undeveloped, participants should dress accordingly and be prepared to walk.
