Mansfielders will have a number of options to fill an early fall weekend close to home. If you can spare a day – or any afternoon at least – from household work, consider any of the following:

The 166th Annual Bellville Street Fair begins at 4:00 pm on Wednesday when rides and concessions open, and continues through a horse show at 1:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. A full schedule of events is available at the Fair website.

A few miles to the west brings the Crestline Harvest Festival, which begins its three day run on Thursday. Crafts, food, games, music and more await. To find out what’s happening, click here for the Festival Facebook page.

Ohio Open Doors events continue for a second weekend. The Oak Hill Cottage Carriage House and Preservation Walk, Ohio Genelogical Society, Mansfield Memorial Museum, and Malabar Farm “Big House” tours will be repeated frm the previous weekend, joined on Sunday by a tour of the Gill House in Galion. That list of events can be found here.

Down in Loudonville, the Great Mohican Pow-Wow takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Click here for additional information and a schedule of events.

Send us your news — of an announcement, event,
club news, fundraiser – whatever! It’s easy to do online.
