🌷 Free First Monday — A Day to Explore for All

Date: Monday, April 7
Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
Admission: Free

Mark your calendars for April 7 when Kingwood Center Gardens invites the community to enjoy a Free First Monday! Guests can stroll the scenic gardens, take a peek inside the stately Kingwood Hall, and experience the lush display greenhouse filled with exotic plants.

From 1 to 3 PM, families can also enjoy a free educational drop-in program—perfect for curious minds of all ages. After exploring the grounds, visitors can relax at the Gateway Café or shop for garden-inspired treasures at the Garden & Gift Shop.


🌿 Spring Plant Market: Your Garden Starts Here

Dates: May 2 – 4

Spring is in the air, and so is the scent of fresh herbs and blooming flowers. Kingwood’s annual Spring Plant Market returns May 2–4, offering an abundant selection of:

  • Heirloom vegetables and herbs
  • Annuals and perennials
  • Trees and shrubs

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting your hands dirty, this market is the perfect place to stock up on vibrant plants and expert advice.


🧘 Wellness Walk & Morning Stretch: Find Your Zen in Nature

When: Wednesdays at 11:00 AM
Duration: 45 minutes
Cost: Included with admission (drop-ins welcome if space allows)

Take a midweek break to breathe, move, and reconnect with nature. The Wellness Walk & Morning Stretch Program guides participants through a scenic ¾-mile loop of the gardens, concluding with a 10-minute guided stretch session.

Designed to improve flexibility, tone, and range of motion, this weekly offering is a rejuvenating way to boost your physical and mental wellness. Dress comfortably and bring a bottle of water—then leave refreshed in body, mind, and spirit.
