The venerable Ohio State Reformatory has officially opened its doors for the 2017 tour season.

Through September 3, OSR is open for tours between the hours of 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, every day. Guided tours take approximately 1 ½ hours and are offred between June and August on Saturdays and Sundays. Special guided tours are also available, and more than one can be taken during a day’s visit.

This year’s admission prices are as follows:

Self-guided tours:

  • Adult (18 and older) – $12
  • Student (ages 7-17) – $10
  • Seniors (60 and older) – $10
  • College ID and Military – $10
  • Youth – Free

Guided tours:

  • Adult (18 and older) – $17
  • Student (ages 7-17) – $15
  • Seniors (60 and older) – $15
  • College ID and Military – $15
  • Youth – Free

Audio wands are also available to rent at $5; these provide audio narration during self-guided tours. Note that no tours will be available this spring and summer on the following dates: April 16, May 29, July 4
