There’s a new getaway opportunity close to home.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has announced the availability for rental of the new Maple Syrup Cabin at Malabar Farm State Park. This newly renovated cabin overlooks a pond and is next to the maple sugar shack.

The cabin features heating, air conditioning, a stove, microwave, refrigerator, cable TV, one queen and one sofa bed, and more. Dinnerware and cookware are also provided with cabin rental.

Reservations for the new cabin must be made at least one day before arrival and can be made up to one year in advance. The maximum number of people that can stay in the cabin at one time is four, and pets are not allowed.

Current stated rates are $150 per night and $1,050 per week. The online reservation site is located here.
