The Class of 2020 for Mansfield Senior High School will take center stage next Saturday when their graduation video airs on local television.

The modified in-person graduation concluded on Friday when the last students, attired in the traditional cap and gown, walked across the stage to obtain their diplomas.

The video will air on WMFD-TV at 7 PM on Saturday, May 23, and will stream thereafter on the WMFD website and on tygerpride.com.

According to Mansfield City Schools, “When completed, the video will feature each member of the Class of 2020 receiving their diploma, along with pre-recorded remarks by the valedictorian, salutatorian, Principal Marinise Harris, Superintendent Stan Jefferson and board of education President Renda Cline.

The video will be provided to each graduate, along with a formal cap-and-gown photo and a copy of the program being created to simulate the traditional May 23 commencement in Pete Henry Gym.”
