The new year brings with it the need for many governmental bodies to conduct organizational sessions, including boards of education.

The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education will have its 2017 organizational meeting at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, January 3, at the Raemelton administration building, located at 856 W. Cook Road.

The agenda includes election of officers and approval of standing authorizations for the coming year. Among other routine actions, the Board is expected to continue the schedule of regular meetings for 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at Raemelton, establish a Service Fund, and adopt standing authorizations.
