For the 2022 academic year, students from the Lima, Marion and Mansfield campuses will split more than $30,000 in scholarship funding. The scholarship recipients will work together as part of a multi-campus cohort and receive advising, mentoring, internship opportunities, cohort professional development seminars and events. The award is renewable for all four years of the students’ academic career with satisfactory academic performance.

Scholarship recipients will engage in industry- or peer-mentoring or tutoring, help recruiters promote the engineering technology program to prospective students, attend and present on the student experience to the industry advisory board, participate in the annual State of Ohio Choose Ohio First Showcase, and become involved in professional organizations.

The engineering technology major launched in autumn 2020 on three of the university’s regional campuses, including Ohio State Mansfield. The program is designed to meet the needs of industry and focuses on manufacturing leadership development. Engineering technology students receive hands-on experience and receive mentoring from manufacturing leaders.
