With a backdrop of rapidly evolving technology, educators across Ohio are gearing up to revolutionize the classroom with Artificial Intelligence (AI). This summer, the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (MOESC) will host one of five Ohio AI Summits, bringing together educators from across the state to share insights and innovations in AI literacy. The local event, scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at the MOESC Conference Center in Mansfield, promises to be a pivotal moment in shaping the future of education in Ohio.

The Vision: Empowering Educators

The Ohio AI Summit is a platform for educators to collaborate, inspire, and learn from each other. By focusing on AI literacy and innovation, the summit aims to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to integrate AI effectively into their teaching practices. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that Ohio’s students are well-prepared for a future where AI plays an increasingly significant role.

The Host: Mid-Ohio ESC

MOESC is hosting this event to augment its extensive experience in providing specialized academic and support services to 13 school districts across Crawford, Morrow, and Richland Counties. With a reach of over 20,000 students, the Center has established itself as a leader in educational innovation and support. The center offers a wide range of services, including curriculum development, gifted and special education consulting, speech pathology, psychology, and occupational and physical therapy.

This event marks a significant step towards ensuring that Ohio’s students are equipped with the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven world.
