The Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center (ESC) is set to host a hiring event to connect passionate educators and support staff with school districts in need. The event will take place at the Mid-Ohio ESC Conference Center, located at 890 Fourth Street in Mansfield, on Thursday, March 6, from 8:30 AM to noon.
With a growing demand for skilled professionals in local schools, this hiring event is designed to attract both new graduates seeking licensure and experienced K-12 educators. In addition to teachers, the event will welcome professionals in related services, including speech and language pathologists, school psychologists, board-certified behavior analysts, English language tutors, and occupational therapy assistants.
Jennifer Reed, Director of Human Resources at Mid-Ohio ESC, emphasized the importance of the event. “This event is meant to draw new and seasoned educators and support staff to the area where the need has been great. Our goal is to centralize the search and connect qualified candidates who share a passion for education with the opportunities available right here in our communities.”
What Candidates Need to Know
Candidates attending the hiring event should hold or be actively pursuing a valid education licensure by August 1st. Attendees are encouraged to bring a cover letter, resume, and references, as they will have the opportunity to interview with school district representatives on-site.
