Mid-Ohio ESC was recently named a “High Performing ESC” by the Ohio Department of Education.  This is the first year of the prestigious designation.

To earn the award, Mid-Ohio ESC demonstrated a savings of 21.4 percent for its 16 client districts in the areas of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Psychology and Speech and Language Pathology services, as well as Executive Search services.

Across the state, ESCs reported more than $54 million in savings submitted to ODE. 

“We are pleased to be recognized for our shared services model at Mid-Ohio ESC,” says  Superintendent Linda T. Keller.  “Students in our 16 client districts benefit each day from our high-level services, and our partner schools definitely see the advantage of the cost savings we offer.”

Board of Governors’ member Marge Prater says, “This is an outstanding achievement and the credit goes to Superintendent Linda T. Keller, her hardworking, dedicated staff, the cooperative spirit of our partner schools and a supportive Board of Governors.”

Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, located at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center at 890 W. Fourth St. in Mansfield, provides high quality, cost-effective, specialized academic/ therapy support services and professional development for school districts in the Central Ohio region. These include offering alternative educational options, preschool education and printing services, as well as conference center facilities.
