The Madison Board of Education will consider an improvement to the District’s athletic facilities when it meets this Wednesday evening.

Among Superintendant recommendations will be replacement of the high school tennis courts. Estimated cost of the project is $175,000. If approved, work would begin in the summer of 2018, making the new courts available for the 2018-2019 school year.

Other recommendations include the purchase of new playground equipment at Eastview Elemetary at a cost of $41,957.49.

Numerous personnel and staffing measures are also on the agenda as the District moves toward the new school year. Madison Schools’ first day of classes is Wednesday, August 23.

Wednesday’s meeting will take place at 6:00 PM at the Board offices.
