This summer, Lexington Local School District is thrilled to present its STEAM Camp, a free and engaging experience for students who have just completed Kindergarten through Grade 6 in the district.
Held from July 28 to August 8, 2025, at Lexington High School, the camp will run each weekday morning from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, offering students the chance to become inventors, problem-solvers, and creators through exciting, hands-on exploration.
With a focus on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, this camp is designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and help students discover how fun learning can be when it’s active, collaborative, and creative.
🔧 What Kids Will Explore
Campers will dive into projects and challenges that blend curiosity with creativity:
- Robotics – Program and interact with real robots
- Coding – Learn basic programming through fun digital tools
- Engineering – Build and test structures and inventions
- Art – Use creative expression to enhance scientific exploration
- Reading & Writing – Reflect, record, and tell the story of their discoveries
- Real-World Problem Solving – Work in teams to solve exciting STEAM-based challenges
Each day brings new experiences that nurture critical thinking, teamwork, and discovery.

📢 What Families Need to Know
- Register your child for the grade they just completed.
- Register each child separately if signing up more than one.
- Transportation is not provided.
- A daily snack is included—please send your child with a water bottle.
- Additional camp details will be sent by email the week of July 21.
- Space is limited. When a grade level fills, registration will close for that grade.
