Four days of events later this month mark the 2022 celebration of Homecoming at The Ohio State University at Mansfield

The annual event brings together students, faculty, staff, and alumni to unite in scarlet and gray to commemorate a university, a family, and a home at The Ohio State University.

This year’s Homecoming is taking place between Monday, September 26 and 29. Each day is marked by a specific program for students and staff, including:

Monday, September 26 – Royalty Crowning (online) – 2:30 PM – This special virtual presentation celebrates OSU regional courts and the crowning of each regional campus’ Homecoming Royalty. The virtual link for this ceremony will be announced soon so that family, friends, students, faculty and staff can attend this special event. NOTE – It has now been published, see below.

Tuesday, September 27 – Taco Tuesday – Enjoy a free walking taco served by 2022 Homecoming Court Members. 12 Noon on the Ovalwood Patio.

Wednesday, September 28 – Meet & Greet Luncheon – Meet 2022 Homecoming Court Members and enjoy a FREE catered lunch – 12:30 PM in the Eisenhower Marketplace

Thursday, September 29 – Tailgate Party – A cookout and cornhole tournament on the Eisenhower Patio – 4:00 PM on the Eisenhower Patio

Royalty members are selected based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State. The Royalty selection process begins with an application. Based on application scores and GPA, individual interviews are offered and conducted by Ohio State faculty, staff, and alumni. The application and interview scores are combined with the student body vote, and the royalty is announced.
