Broadway come to Mansfield later this month when the Madison Choral Department presents this year’s high school musical, 42nd Street: Youth Edition in the Madison Middle School Auditeria.

“Come along and listen to the lullaby of Broadway!  42nd Street celebrates Broadway, Times Square and the magic of show biz with wit, humor and pizzazz.  At the height of the Great Depression, aspiring chorus girl Peggy Sawyer comes to the big city from Allentown, PA, and soon lands her first big job in the ensemble of a glitzy new Broadway show. But just before opening night, the leading lady breaks her ankle.  Will Peggy be able to step in and become a star?”

The cast also includes Piper Donahue, Taylor Caudill, Audrey Ward, Brandi Bowles, Ariona Anderson, Emma Finley, Emily Jones, Courtney Cyrus, and Devin Bond. 

Showtimes are Friday, March 18, at 7:30 PM; Saturday, March 19, at 7:30 PM; and Sunday, March 20, at 2:30 PM. Admission is $8; $6 for students and senior citizens.
