Downtown Mansfield, Inc. is hosting its monthly First Friday Shop Hop in the historic downtown on Friday, February 1. This month several merchants will participate in the Winter Festival and Chocolate Walk theme. This event will include carriage rides, chocolate treats, and more!
Over fifty independent businesses now populate the city center. To celebrate longtime patrons and welcome new guests, downtown businesses offer entertainment, hold unique events and offer specials during the First Friday Shop Hop. Guests are encouraged to meet friends and explore the new face of downtown Mansfield.
The February 1 Winter Festival and Chocolate Walk Shop Hop features:
- Element of Art will host entertainment by Sayja Nelson.
- Little Buckeye Children’s Museum will host “Cold Hands, Warm Hearts First Friday”. They will be offering free admission with a donation of hat, gloves, or mittens per person.
- Phoenix Brewing Company will be hosting First Friday Infusions with the tapping of a new keg. They will also offer live music with Mike Risner.
- Richland Bank will be hosting #WheresRascal at Richland Carrousel Park. Meet their mascot Rascal and get one free carrousel ticket.
- Richland Carrousel Park will be hosting Winter Festival. This will include carriage rides from 4-7pm for $5 per person, 5 rides for $2, and chocolate treats for the downtown chocolate walk.
- Tara’s Floral will be hosting live music by Ron McDonald and offering chocolate inspired treats.
- The Chill will be offering chocolate covered, cherry ice cream and hot chocolate.
- What Goes ‘Round Thrift Shoppe will be offering half price clothing and chocolate treats.
First Friday Shop Hop is free and open to the public.
