As these photos show, rehearsals are currently underway for the performance of the Christmas Oratorio of Camille Saint-Saens. The music will be shared on December 11 at 3:00 p.m. within the glorious walls of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in downtown Mansfield.

The work is being performed by the St. Peter’s Choir and Mid Ohio Opera.

This event is bpart of the 2016-2017 St. Peter’s Music Series The St. Peter’s Music Series reflects collaborations with several different arts organizations, singers, and musicians from around North Central Ohio. The goal of the performance schedule is to offer programming that has wide appeal. This year’s edition has a total of six concerts.

A Monday evening rehearsal for soloists was featured via photo on Facebook (see below).

The Music Series is presented thanks to a gift from Charles P. Hahn and the Cleveland Financial Group along with donations from local businesses and St. Peter’s parishioners.
