Back by popular demand, the Downtown Mansfield Scavenger Hunt is currently underway.

A fun summer event for the whole family, bring your kids to explore downtown Mansfield through August 4 in search of a carrousel critter. This featured animal from the Richland Carrousel Park has hidden himself in an array of downtown businesses and organizations. Find Reginald enough times and you can claim a prize.

First, be sure to download your 2018 Scavenger Hunt Map and Checklist or pick one up at Destination Mansfield, Main Street Books, The Little Buckeye Children’s Museum, or the Richland Carrousel Park. Next, head out into the community and find Reginald! When you spot him, make sure to have the participating business stamp or sign your checklist.

When you collect 10 stamps or signatures, visit The Little Buckeye Children’s Museum to make your own rabbit ears. If you are an excellent sleuth and you collect 20 stamps or signatures, stop by Main Street Books to sign up for the Big Rabbit Rally on Saturday, August 4 at 2:30 pm at the Richland Carrousel Park. Come for carrousel rides, cookies, juice, and a big prize drawing. If you visit every location, return to Main Street Books to collect the ultimate Rabbity Reward!

This free event is co-sponsored by Main Street Books and The Little Buckeye Children’s Museum with the help of Richland Source, Destination Mansfield – Richland County, and the Richland Carrousel Park. For more information about the event, please contact Llalan Fowler, manager of Main Street Books, at 419.522.BOOK.
