Richland Soil and Water Conservation District’s Virtual Grazing School will be held Wednesdays, April 14, April 21 and April 28 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at The Longview Center, 1495 W. Longview Avenue in Mansfield.

Because of COVID-19, this series was held virtually January through the beginning of March. If you missed it, you want a refresher or you don’t have access to internet, this allows you an opportunity to watch.

  • April 14: Core Grazing Education: Evaluating Resources and Goal Setting, Getting Started and Soil Fertility
  • April 21: The Science of Grazing: Understanding Plant Growth, Fencing and Water Systems, Meeting Animal Requirements on Pasture
  • April 28: Meeting Grazing Goals: Pasture Weed Control, Economics of Grazing, Creating and Implementing Grazing Plans

Register by April 7. Course capacity limited to 20 people. Cost is $30 per person, includes curriculum binder or USB Drive of course and certification.
