Contemplating something for your school-age children to enjoy this summer? How about a Nature Camp offered through the Ohio Bird Sanctuary?
As the Sanctuary says, it’s important to “screen time for green time,” and that studies have demonstrated that children who engage and understand the nature world are better citizens of it. Camps are available for children ages 6 to 12. Activities will include games, hikes, crafts, animal encounters, learning activities, and healthy snacks. Each camp will center on a specific theme as follows:
Spring Camp – May 4 from 6-10 PM — This evening camp will include a night hike, games, crafts, owl-calling, and s’mores around a bonfire! Spring Camp pre-registration is required, and a registration form is available here.
