The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings will perform their spring concert under the baton of director Matt Domka on Sunday, March 25 at 3:00 p.m. on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre. The program consists of both contemporary and classical repertoire, featuring a Haydn suite alongside contemporary film and Broadway favorites, including Arlen’s “Over the Rainbow,” Sondheim’s “Send in the Clowns,” and music from Star Wars.

“The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings features some of the most talented strings players from the Mansfield and surrounding areas,” shared Domka. The Youth Strings consists more than forty students in grades 6 through 10 who audition to participate in this elite orchestral group. The orchestra is composed of students from Ashland, Clear Fork, Homeschool, Lexington, Mansfield, River Valley, and Willard School Districts.

The Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings perform as part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series and with additional support from the Russell and Mary Gimbel Foundation. Adult tickets are $10, and student tickets are $5. All tickets are available online at MansfieldTickets.com, or by calling the box office at 419-522-2726.
