The Ohio AgriBusiness Association (OABA) invites golf enthusiasts, industry professionals, and supporters of agricultural education to participate in the 2025 Golf for Scholarships outings, one of which will be held locally. These highly anticipated events provide a unique opportunity to enjoy a day on the course while supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Tee Off for Education
The Golf for Scholarships outings serve as the primary fundraising events for the OABA Educational Trust scholarship program. This initiative awards over $45,000 in scholarships annually to students pursuing agriculture-related degrees at The Ohio State University and OSU Agricultural Technical Institute, as well as Clark State Community College, Central State University, and Wilmington College.
By participating in these outings, players and sponsors contribute directly to the education of future agricultural professionals, ensuring continued growth and innovation in Ohio’s agri-business sector.
Event Details
Golfers have two chances to join the fun and make a difference:
- Early Outing: June 11, 2025 – Deer Ridge Golf Club, Bellville
- Late Outing: August 13, 2025 – Shelby Oaks Golf Club, Sidney
Both events promise a day of friendly competition, networking, and community support, all while enjoying some of Richland County’s finest golf courses.

- Early Bird Registration: $150 per person / $600 per team
- Deadlines: May 26 for the June outing, July 27 for the August outing
- Standard Registration (After Deadline, As Space Allows): $175 per person / $700 per team
