It’s wonderful to be sharing the news that the popular and unique St. Peter’s Music Series is returning to bring Mansfield audiences outstanding opportunities to hear solo and group artists in performance.

This time it is flautist Angela Massey, accompanied by pianist Erika Dohi.

The performance will feature works for the flute created by composers J.S. Bach, Mouquet, Saint-Saens, and Matt Smith.

Ms. Massey maintains an active career as a solo artist, chamber artist, orchestral musician, and instructor. She has performed in venues across the United States and Europe. Massey’s academic credentials include a certificate in Advanced Flute Studies from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Music degree in flute performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She will also be presenting a masterclass for students at St. Peter’s on the day following the concert.

The event at St. Peter’s Catholic Church is set for Monday, April 12 at 7:30 PM. Attendees are asked to wear masks and to follow all CDC and Ohio Department of Health recommendations.

St. Peter’s Music Series is underwritten through a grant by the Robert and Esther Black Family Foundation Fund, The Robert J. and Stella Sutter Family Fund at the Richland County Foundation, and the Cleveland Financial Group.

For a taste of what’s to come, tune in Sunday at 3 PM to watch and listen to Angela Massey perform at the St. Joseph Cathedral in downtown Columbus. That concert will be livestreamed here.
