- Spring into Spring! (Mar. 3-31, Crestview): Kick off the season with a chance to win! Visit the Crestview branch, check out a specially displayed book, and receive a ticket for a drawing to win a $25 Walmart gift card. It’s a simple way to add a little spring to your step.
- Bookpage Eggs (Tue. Mar. 11, Lexington; Tue. Mar. 18, Main; Thu. Mar. 20, Madison; Tue. Mar. 25, Lucas, 6 PM): Dive into the world of mixed media! Using stamps, ink, and book pages, create three unique and beautiful eggs. All supplies are provided, making this a perfect opportunity to explore your artistic side.
- CRAFTY ATTIC: Busted Canvas! (Tue. Mar. 11, 6 PM Crestview; Thu. Mar. 13, 6 PM Plymouth; Mon. Mar. 17, 6 PM Butler; Tue. Mar. 18, 2 & 6 PM Lexington; Tue. Mar. 25, 2 PM Richland Mall; Mon. Mar. 31, 2 & 6 PM Bellville): Spring is bursting onto canvas! Join fellow crafters in this popular workshop where you’ll create a textured masterpiece. All supplies are included, and you’ll have multiple prints to choose from. This program is located at many library branches.
- Craft Supply Swap (Mar. 28 & 29, Lucas): Declutter and discover! Bring your new or gently used craft supplies and swap them for something new to you. It’s a fantastic way to find inspiration for your next project and give your unused materials a new life.
Wellness & Learning: Enrich Your Mind and Body
- Experience a Sound Bath (Thu. Mar. 13, Main; Thu. Mar. 20, Plymouth; Mon. Mar. 24, Butler, 6 PM): Immerse yourself in a relaxing, meditative experience with Adrienne Krizan, owner of The Loud Sound Bath. Ease stress, anxiety, and calm your mind and body with the soothing sounds of this unique program.
- Personal Digital Archiving (Sat. Mar. 15, 10 AM, Main): In today’s digital age, preserving our memories is crucial. Learn tips and tricks from the Sherman Room librarian on how to keep your digital photos, videos, and emails safe for future generations.
- Healing Salves from Your Backyard (Mon. Mar. 24, 6 PM Lucas; Tue. Mar. 25, 6 PM Lexington; Wed. Mar. 26, 2 PM Bellville; Thu. Mar. 27, 6 PM Butler): Discover the healing power of plants! Join Amber of 3 Strands Acres as she teaches you how to make healing salves from common backyard plants. Each participant will take home a 2 oz. jar of multiple salve varieties.
